Guided tours at the Atominstitut

**** Since the access restrictions at the universities still exist, there are currently no guided tours. Reservations cannot be accepted. Thank you for understanding! ****

We are pleased over the many guests which have used our guided tours in recent years to learn more over the nuclear Institute and his work. We had each year approximately 5,000 people in nearly 400 guided tours with this opportunity to learn more about the Institute and accomplished this in addition to our usual research and teaching. We overstepped now our limits of our capacity. We ask therefore for your understanding, for the reduce the number of tours.

In a guided tour, which usually takes about 1 - 1.5 hours, you will visit our research reactor, learn about its tasks and uses and hear about themes like Reactor Physics, Neutron- and Radiation Physics and radiation protection. Therefore, a guided tour at the ATI is perfectly suited as a practical complement for the curriculum physics for the 8th and/or 12th school level. The group size should be ideally from 10 to 15 people. At maximum, 2 groups can be guided simultaneously.

Tours take place at reactor times from 9:00 to 15:30.
