Our group at the EUCAS 2017

The European Conference on Applied Superconductivity (EUCAS) 2017 was a great success for the LTP group. Seven presentations including a plenary talk put our research in the spotlight of this large conference.

The European Conference on Applied Superconductivity 2017 (http://eucas2017.org/2017/) was organized in Geneva by CERN and hosted 1194 participants from all over the world. EUCAS is held every other year and is the largest regular European event about superconductivity. The organizers turned it into an unforgettable experience with outreach events and a spectacular closing at CERN. We are proud of having contributed four posters and two oral presentations as well as one of the four plenary talks, which are considered to be the highlights of the conference. Michael Eisterer reviewed the properties of important superconducting materials and outlined their application prospects not least on the basis of the group’s research efforts during the past years.
